Sherry Searles

LaunchPad Director

Sherry Searles joined our staff in October of 2018 as the Director of LauchPad. The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with The Kosciusko County Community Foundation and United Way, formed a Childcare & Early Learning Coalition, now known as LaunchPad, for the purpose of helping families in the county access high quality and affordable child care/early learning options for their children, birth to age 5. LaunchPad has a 5-year strategic plan to help guide their work.

Sherry is the former Director of Manchester Early Learning Center and a former teacher for Warsaw Community Schools. She has a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and is a certified HighScope teacher and trainer.

Sherry says that early childhood education is a proven long-term investment and she is looking forward to helping our community access quality and affordable childcare and early learning opportunities for all children from birth to age five.

Sherry and her husband, Steve live in North Manchester and have three grown children and two grandchildren. They enjoy camping, hiking and kayaking and are on a quest to visit all 62 National Parks. Sherry also serves on Governor Holcomb’s Early Learning Advisory Committee and is a graduate of Kosciusko Leadership Academy.
