Chamber Coronavirus Statement

Wednesday, March 11, 2020

Dear Chamber and WCDC Members,

The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce and Warsaw Community Development Corporation recognize that the recent outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) is concerning for many and we are committed to public health and safety.

At this time, all meetings and events remain scheduled as planned. However, we encourage you to stay informed about recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and World Health Organization as you make personal decisions regarding event and meeting attendance. We kindly ask that you wash or sanitize your hands throughly before attending a meeting or event and if you are feeling ill, please do not attend.

We urge for the response to the coronavirus to be grounded in facts, not driven by fear — and remain dedicated to equipping our members and our community with necessary tools and resources to stay informed and feel most prepared.

Should this situation continue to escalate in our community, the Chamber will take the recommended and necessary precautions to make sure our community is safe. If we do need to take cautionary measures and cancel/reschedule any of our upcoming meetings or events, we will notify you immediately.

In the meantime, we encourage you to follow best practices to help keep yourself and others healthy. For more information, visit the following links:
